Our goal is to foster a safe, equitable and diverse research environment at the various national and inter-university research institutes that comprise ROIS, which is the key to advancing collaborative interdisciplinary research that can help change the world.
To advance gender equality and diversity in Japan’s higher education and research community, the Research Organization of Information and System (ROIS) and the National Institutes for the Humanities (NIHU) has jointly conducted the diversity project since October 2019. We have led a project to investigate effective gender equality policies and practices with the funding of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
